Climate Change: Climate change is a very serious problem, it's when the temperatures of the planet rise due to various factors such as humans burning fossil fuels in factories or from their cars, the gases from the burning of fossil fuels get trapped in the Earth's atmosphere causing the rise in temperatures. There have been many methods to try and mitigate this ongoing issue such as legislation being passed most notably the Paris Climate Accords. Racial Discrimination: Racial discrimination is another critical issue, it can happen with anyone no matter if you're Hispanic, Black, Asian, or Indigenous. The US has had the most problems with racial discrimination such as Jim Crow Laws in the southern states stripping Black people of their rights that they just gained with the 13th, 14th, and 15th amendments, or Asian people being attacked for "spreading COVID" even though any human being can spread a virus, Many movements have pushed for legislation to end discrimina...

This project was kind of easy, I used basic transformation filters such as the Move, Rotation and Scaling filters, I also used a Time warp filter on the box and the Avocado near the end of the animation, I also had utilized a Blur feature but for some reason it didn't save. Nonetheless I'm happy with what I've accomplished by using very little features that After Effects had to offer. If I were to go back to amend my work I would reimplement the blur feature.  Very little had changed from my original storyboard sketches, The idea was clear, and I knew exactly what to do. The only thing I changed from it was adding an Orange background that faded into Grey, the reason why I did this is because I wanted it to loop so after the Avocado zoomed into the seed, it would circle back to the orange background.  After we had that review where we looked at other classmate's work, I've added  a sizzle animation to the box and avocado before they left the frame, The blur feature ...

  My main inspiration for this animation is the Netflix Logo Introduction when you first start to watch a series/movie, I always liked how the N would zoom in near the end of the intro and thus I've replicated it here. However, I decided not to copy it 1:1 and I've added my own twist at the start where the Box either pops in or fades into the view. Then the Avocado would be thrown in with the Text starting to appear. Once a second has passed the Box and Text would fall into the abyss and, it ends with the aforementioned Avocado zooming into the seed. It seems simple but I would bet all my teeth that it's complicated to do the zoom in

  Adobe Animate and Adobe After Effects while serving similar purposes have a lot of differences. 1. After Effects is capable of making 3D effects whereas Animate can't.  2. Animate has a more friendly user interface suitable for starters whereas with After Effects the interface is all over the place. However, like with other Adobe products the interface is customizable 3. Animate comes with the ability to hand draw graphics whereas with After Effects, you have to do it in another program such as Illustrator then import it into After Effects 4. After Effects comes with the ability to export GIFs by simply clicking 5. Animate has limited options when it comes to Compositing, you would have to open up another program such as Lightroom or Photoshop in order to do whatever composition you want. In the Exhibit I learned about the methods many tribes back then would use to construct their houses. In Hawaii they would use Wood to build the structure and would use cords to support the structure. It reminds me of how the Japanese would use a technique called Joinery where they would connect 2 pieces of wood without any screws or nails. Just cut out the ends and slide them in together.  In the workshop building the house in a Desert environment was exciting, Me and my group were trying to figure out what the roof should be made out of whether we should use Popsicle sticks or woodchips, In the end we agreed on utilizing wood sticks instead and reserve the popsicle sticks for the doors. My only complaint would be the lack of Ventilation but other than that I'm satisfied with what me and my group could come up with.

The meaning of public relations is how people see a brand, company or person. PR mostly focuses on the reputation aspect of a brand or company. PR can be used to mitigate something negative that happened whether it was a post on social media or an action a company did that hurt its reputation with its consumers. Essentially, PR attempts to present the brand or company in a sort of positive image no matter what horrid things it might have done in the past 3 takeaways I took 1. There is no exact path to becoming a PR. One of the people in the meeting mentioned that they became a PR from writing in a newspaper for their High School. Another mentioned that they became a PR from being in a Communications job at a former company before it got absorbed into another. 2. Alot of the Entry level/Junior Graphic Design job listings require that you have proficient knowledge and experience in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, sometimes After Effects and Lightroom as well 2. Most of these require you to have a bachelor's degree in graphic design, Others will accept just a certificate as well 3. You need 0-2 years of experience with any design field, Internships count towards the experience 4. All of the job listings require you to have the proper time management skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks at a time 5. Work shifts are usually 8 to 10 hours long, basically the same amount of time school lasts for 6. Salary is approximately $13.50 - 35 an hour or $11,870 - 306,600 a year
